Guideline for Updating On-Line Profiles AATA members and assessed/registered
animal attendants
are now listed in an on-line searchable database which is
AATA's way of helping the general public find you and
for you to find other AATA members that can help you with your shipment!
You can now update your own information on-line.
Your on-line profile includes your contact details, your type of
business, the species you handle and a brief description of the services
you provide. Searches for assistance in shipping animals will be
based on the information you provide so please help us keep it
updated.
To update your information: |

Click on "Need Help
Shipping" on the left navigation bar or click on
http://mcweb01.memberclicks.com/mc/prelogin.do?hidOrgID=aata
which will bring you to the
login screen |

Enter your
temporary user name (UN) and password (PW). If you do not have
your UN and PW, enter your email address and it will be emailed to you.
Once you have entered the on-line directory, please change your UN and
PW to something that is easy for you to remember! |

Your email address must
be one that is listed with AATA. If you don't know what email
address is listed with AATA, just email
AATA and ask that your UN and PW be
emailed to you. |

If your company has one
email address for several people, each person listed under your AATA
membership will have a separate UN and PW which is tied to their
specific contact information. In this case, just email
AATA and ask that your UN and PW be
emailed to you. |

Once you have
entered the searchable on-line directory, click on MY PROFILE to
view your information. Click on EDIT to change your information.
Please update all fields. However, if you wish some of the
information to be hidden from searches by the general public, just tick
the appropriate boxes. If you have any trouble modifying your
information, just email the changes to
AATA
or
AATA's Publications Coordinator
and we'll make the changes for you.
TIP: In those boxes where you have multiple selections, hold down
your CTRL key and click on the those items you wish to select until they
are highlighted in blue. Unless they are highlighted in blue, they
are not selected and will not be included in your profile
information.
And don't forget to click on SAVE at the very bottom of the page!

If you wish
to add your logo to make your information stand out in the
directory, it can easily be uploaded right on-line. Not only will
your logo be seen during on-line searches, but will also be included
when hard copies of search results are printed. It's great,
inexpensive advertising! |

There is a nominal cost
of $150 per year to have your logo on-line. If you are a corporate
member, we will manually add your logo to the profiles for all members
under your AATA membership - at no extra cost. |

We are automatically
notified when your logo is posted on-line. Once we are notified,
AATA's Admin Office will be in contact regarding payment.
Depending upon when your next renewal date is, in most cases the annual
web logo fee will be pro-rated for the number of months left till your
next renewal date. Then the web logo can be renewed annually when
you renew your membership dues. |

Don't worry if the logo
doesn't look just right after you have uploaded it. Once we know
it's been posted on-line, we'll review it to make sure it fits in the
space available and resize it, if needed. If we have questions,
we'll be in touch. |

Once your
information is updated, take a minute to get familiar with searching
on-line. |

The SIMPLE SEARCH will
search on any word or words you enter. |

The ADVANCED SEARCH gives
you may searching and sorting options. Remember that the % symbol
is a wild card. If you are searching for a specific company and
don't type in the exact, complete name of the company, your search may
not find any results. Play it safe . . . type in a short version
of the company name and add % before and after the information you
entered. |

Tick the check box to TAG
the records you wish to print and click on PRINT. You will be able
to print your selections in a "Business Card" format (which gives you
complete contact details) or a "Profile" format (which includes the
contact details, plus type of business, species and business
description). The print file is formatted as a PDF file.
Some browsers may require that you click on the REFRESH button to open
the PDF file. |

Again, if you have any problems with the
on-line directory, just email your changes to
AATA or
AATA's Publications Coordinator
and we'll be happy to update
the information for you. As with any new system, it takes a while to
become familiar with how it works and to resolve problems.
