Silent Auction

This was AATA's 3rd year to hold a silent auction.  The auction had a multitude of items ranging from an Orca whale. (Don't worry!  It was a small stuffed toy; no shipping needed to get him home.) There were coins, fresh from the mint, as well as Chilean wines and two international airline tickets on Continental Airlines for the raffle, just to name a few. There was even an authentic black cowboy hat from Texas and a set of sterling silver spurs.

Conference attendees milled around breathlessly as the highest bidders were announced and the losing bidders were assured that they would have next year to try again!

Our thanks to all who participated, both by donating items to be auctioned, by bidding on items being offered and by exhibiting so that attendees had the opportunity to learn more about their fellow colleagues.
